Wedding Plans continue

Henry and I have been working on our invitations for months now, and we are finally getting somewhere. Slowly but surly they are coming along. This weekend we are trying to get his tux rented and are going to look at decorations to rent for the church. I am excited about that because it will help me to envision the wedding even more. We went to a craft store yesterday and got supplies for our center pieces (some of it anyways, we go supplies fro a couple of them to make sure it would look alright.) Their are so many things to do but I really don't feel I know what I still need to do. However the wedding will be here soon weather we are ready or not.

When Henry and I first started to become friends we went dancing together to sharpen our skills before teaching swing dancing and salsa to the high schooler at our church. Later once we had been dating for a little while Henry supprised me one night. We were driving back from our collage group and stoped by our church to pick up my car. When we pulled in he told me to wait in the car. He ran around to the other side of the car and opened me door for me, he then turned up the music we had been listening to and we slowed dance in the church parking lot to "thats all" by Michael Bublé. That song is going to be the song we dance to at our wedding. Here is a video that i hope will bring you a laugh.

Day Two without Henry

Well I finally got everything cut for out wedding invitations and my homework for the day. Next on the list... brush the dog. This seems like it is always on my to-do-list.

v-day

ok so this is a little late but I wanted to share what my amazingly wonderful man did for me. Thursday feb. 14 I had class from 11-1 and then I had clinical from 2-10:30pm. Henry and I decided that we would just do card for each other because he was going to be gone this weekend and I had to be at clinical all night. However Thursday morning I woke up to my dog jumping on my bed and Henry coming in to bring me breakfast in bed. I'm spoiled by Henry!

Henry's Gone...how i survived day 1

Last night i dropped henry off at the church and said good bye as he loaded up in a van with a bunch of high schoolers and a few other adults. How did i survive you ask, well i cleaned my room (for those who have not seen my room, it doesn't get cleaned all that often so this was a major job.) I also printed everything for our wedding invitations and started to cut them out. I hope to get our invitations put all together over the next week so that over my spring break i can address them and send them out! I'm really excited for that. The big questions is now what do I do?

Portland

Henry and I went to see his parents last weekend in Portland. As always we ate way to much and played games. I really enjoy going to see Esther (henry's younger sister) and playing games with her and Patty (Henry's older sister.)

Engagement photos

Last weekend Henry and I got our engagement pictures taken. They came our really good (at least in my opinion) and the only problem is choosing the three we like the best. We had a lot of fun taking the picture, it was so cold and our shoes kept falling off. Their is one picture of Henry falling down and taking me with him all because his shoe got stuck in the snow. Superbowl celebrated with math

When i was accepted into the nursing program I did not realize that many American traditions would have to be celebrated in new ways for me. Today is superbowl sunday and while most people are watching the game and eating yummy snacks, i am trying to figure out the following problem:
ordered for a patient reads: 2mcg/kg
drug is available in : 100mcg/ml in prefilled 1ml vials
the patient ways: 132lbs
How many ml will I administer and how many vials will I need?

I don't mind doing math,I actually really like these kinds of problems. However tomorrow after my 8 hour shift at my clinical site i have to take a test over all sorts of medication calculations and conversion. But don't worry no pressure i only have to get 100% to be able to give patients medications this year. Luckly my instructor is really nice and i don't think he will fail us if we make a small mistake especailly because we just did an 8 hour shift.

This week will be VERY busy for me. I have two test on Wednesday over pathology and pharmacology. I also another 8 hour day of clinical on Thursday. This is more then most other clinical groups at our school have to do, but because of all the snow we have to make up last weeks clinical hours this week.

I guess I shouldn't complain, many people are working full time and going to school full time. I know i am increadibly lucky and whatever doesn't kill me makes me stronger right?

Please pray for Henry and I this week. We both will be busy and when I get stressed I tend to take it out on him. Also pray that in the midst of all the crazyness this week we would not forget to spend time with our Papa.
