July Picture

Some friends have given me the idea of taking a picture of Parker every month next to the same object so here are his July photos.  He got the giraffe from Aunt Patty and Uncle Moe. He received the teddy bear today from Mr. and Mrs. Adams. Thanks Patty, Moe, Kanani and Joel!

I can't wait till next month to see how big he is!  I can't believe he will be 6 weeks tomorrow. It feels like we just brought him home last week.  Strange to think that some kids are born this size.

Checking himself out in the mirror. "who's that handsome fella?"

Parkers Ultrasound

Parker is not pregnant!  We were really worried so we had him get an ultrasound.  Just kidding.  He had an ultrasound of his hips to make sure he does not have hip dysplasia.  He had it yesterday and it was normal no hip problems for our little guy.  This is a routine check for any child born in a breech position.  Boys have about a 5% change of having hip dysplasia, girls have a 10% chance.  Parker did very well, he only cried when they put the ultrasound gel on him.  He takes everything in stride.

Parker also had his first road trip last weekend.  He did 4.5 hours in the car with no problems. Only cried when he was hungry or cold.  What a good kid!
